Brake, the national road safety charity, works to:
- prevent death and injury on the roads through education of all road users and campaigning for improvements to road safety
- care for people who are bereaved or affected by serious injury in a road crash through support services
The majority of Brake's funding, which enables us to do the above, comes from community fundraising and corporate donations. KDS has recently become a Corporate Partner of Brake and has helped to raise over £5000 through various fundraising initiatives. Not only has the staff at KDS helped to raise this fantastic amount of money but they have all been educated on safe driving by KDS's health and safety manager's who were trained by the FedEx and Brake Road Safety Academy.
Managing Director, Stevie Kidd, has incorporated road safety awareness into every area of his business, a move that has been noticed at Government level. Brake is delighted to have KDS on board as a Corporate Partner and very much look forward to working with them throughout 2008.
