10,000 feet jump for our charity partner Brake

Pre-jump nerves not shown! Scott Duncan, KDS Training Manager made a leap from 10,000 feet in tandem parachute jump on Sunday the 7th June at Skydive Strathallan to raise money for Brake.

he plan was for Scott to jump on the Saturday with the other people who had turned up to support brake, but this was weathered off due to gusty winds and poor visibility.

Scott: “This was an amazing experience and I am grateful for the support from everyone at Brake, KDS and my family and friends who came to see me on the day (even though it was cancelled). It felt quite surreal when I was dangling above the clouds out of the side of a plane with no door and nothing to hold onto... You accelerate from knot to 120 MPH in 7 seconds, the feeling of dropping out into the clouds was very scary at first and literally took my breath away, I dropped at 120 MPH towards the ground for 30 second in freefall (that’s 5,000 feet in half a minute), then the chute opened above us and we slowed down to about 70MPH... what an amazing rush and I am very proud to say that I did this in support of Brake”
